G.729 Patents Indemnification

G.729 is an ITU standard protected by patents throughout the world.

Hence, having an implementation (codec) is NOT enough, because most of the codecs out there do not include patents indemnification!

When released for purchase the Qodec Transcoder will have full patent indemnification, so that you may rely on our G.729 patent license agreements

Patent indemnification will include the rights of France Telecom, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, Universite de Sherbrooke, NEC and Nokia Corporation for G.729 Combined with Annex A and Annex B.

Qodec stands out over other G.729 codecs by licensing IPR rights in accessible chunks.

For reasons of licensing verifications, the IPR Indemnification is available only when using Qodec, not with third-party codecs.
